CORONAVIRUS GUIDANCE FOR VOLUNTEERS IN ALL DEPARTMENTS OF THE WALLED GARDEN PROJECT.

** THE LATEST EXCITING NEWS ON THE WALLED GARDEN VOLUNTEER PROJECT**

Our Volunteer Project Returns to the Garden

We are happy to celebrate the return to the Walled Garden of our Volunteer Project Members.  Volunteers are able to work in the garden and service buildings while adhering to Covid19 regulations regarding their personal safety.  Work continues in the garden in preparation for our 20 years anniversary next year and of course the seasons move forward meaning there is plenty to do across the garden.  We look forward to being able to welcome the Research Team, Oral History, Tour Guides and all office based volunteers back.  We are not there yet.  But we will be!

(In light of the recent coronavirus government guidance regarding social gatherings the Estate has made the difficult decision to postpone all aspects of volunteering at the Walled Garden and Estate Office with immediate effect and until further notice.  Please email any queries to:molly.draper@lutonhooestate.co.uk

The estate has reluctantly made the decision to cancel all events at the Walled Garden and wider Estate until further notice. We will continue to asses the situation in line with Government and NHS guidelines. We would like to take this opportunity to wish our friends, visitors, volunteers and tenants, the very best of health at this time. We will continue to post information here and we will recommence activities at the earliest opportunity.

Please note we have begun a facebook group - LHE Walled Garden Chit Chat - Please join and keep up with your friends at the Walled Garden, and share ideas on how to pass the time while in isolation.  An invitation to join has been sent to you by email.)
