How time has been measured in the garden and beyond and how the shape of our sundial revealed a hidden secrets of the shape of the Walled Garden wall.

Robert Peppiatt reveals how building a sundial in the Walled Garden uncovered interesting details about the shape of the Walled Garden.  This talk provides an overview of how time has been measured over the centuries and then covers specific aspects relevent to the estate such as the sun dial, watches that were presented to the Lancers in WW1 and polo watches.

All sessions are 10.30am-12.30pm with the talk commencing at 11.00am. No prior booking required.

Talks are £3 per person all monies go towards the ongoing restoration of the Walled Garden.
