Living on the Estate

Personal tools

Luton Hoo Estate has a wealth of property, originally built to house the numerous estate workers that were once employed on the Estate’s farms, gardens and workshops.

Most of the residential property is now let on Assured Shorthold Tenancies, for both short and long-term lets.

The properties include bungalows, semi-detached cottages and detached houses. They are let unfurnished (predominantly without white goods), they have between two and five bedrooms and the gardens range from small enclosed cottage gardens to large lawns with views of open countryside.

The properties within the core estate benefit from the security of an electronic gated entrance leading to an attractive coach drive.

The nearby towns of Harpenden and Luton mean most facilities are close to hand.  Fast and frequent train services to London Kings Cross, taking approximately 30 minutes, make this an ideal rural retreat for the city worker.
