Themed events every day as well as the first showing of the Walled Garden Artists in Residence Art trail and a special exhibition in the Ornamental Dairy and Tea House by the A&K Wilson Gallery.

Friday 10th September, 10am-3pm
Research Open Day
Meet the researchers, browse the collection of old maps and photos, learn more about what was planted in the garden over 200 years ago and immerse yourself in the tales of life on the Estate, as told by gardeners from times gone by. Illustrated talks on the history of the Walled Garden.

Saturday 11th September, 11am-5pm
Artists Open Day
Artists are welcomed to wander round the garden and come and paint, sketch and photograph one of the area's most hidden delights

Sunday 12th September, 10am-5pm
Family Day
Highlights of the Open Day are displays of living crafts, exhibition of heritage tools, refreshments, picnic area, plant stall, children's activities and guided tours of the garden.

Pumpkin & Apple Gala
A one day celebration of Autumn's rich harvest with entertainment and fun for the whole family. A plethora of apples and pumpkins, the renowned decorated pumpkin exhibition, local food market, artisan village, morris dancers, live demonstrations, cider tent, lots of children's activities, scarecrows, fancy dress and new for this year a show arena with all kinds of exciting displays.

  Adults £5, children under 15 free
