With a range of period buildings in a commanding rural setting, Luton Hoo Estate is widely recognised as a picturesque and versatile location.

The traditional brick buildings of the historic Home Farm complex and the stately Lime Tree Avenue that stretches for nearly a mile are two such features that make Luton Hoo Estate a successful filming venue. In recent years the Estate has hosted period dramas for both TV and the big screen including: Empire of the Sun, Gosford Park, Nicholas Nickleby, Inspector Morse, Oliver, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Bleak House, Little Dorrit and Desperate Romantics.

The team on the estate are well versed with the demands of filming and a flexible, efficient approach allows for smooth, uninterrupted filming.
